Manufactured in East London · Serving the Eastern Cape
Roller shutter doors, garage doors and specialised gates, manufactured in our own plant and installed by our own teams. One supplier from the raw material to the working door.
Roll To Secure is one of the few companies in the region with its own manufacturing plant. Our workforce is trained to take a roller shutter door from raw material through to final production, which is what keeps lead times short and the quality consistent.
It is essential to secure your home, commercial or industrial property at all times. We supply a wide range of high-quality security products to protect your premises from burglary, theft and vandalism.
We service the entire Eastern Cape from three branches: East London, Mthatha and Butterworth.
Everything that used to sit on five separate pages, one tab away.
Manufactured to measure and installed by our own teams. Every door is custom-designed and custom-built, so it fits the opening it was made for.
Commercial and industrial shutters that add a layer of security over entrances and shop fronts, in Z275 galvanised steel with a range of slat styles and powder-coated colours.
High-quality aluminium shutters for almost any window, passageway or door, for the domestic and commercial market, designed and installed to suit the opening.
The most personalised option: wood can be cut to almost any shape and size, painted or stained to match your home, and it insulates as well as it secures.
The modern look at a sensible price. Steel doors are easy to maintain, hard wearing and the most common choice for South African homes.
Maintenance-free, weather-resistant panels of exceptional rigidity and strength, suited to luxurious and up-market homes.
Available in Rustic Bark (buffalo brown) and Chalk (white), with a windlock built into the tracking for extra security and no sharp edges for children.
Gates made to match your garage doors, and we stock and supply the gate motors to drive them.
Extruded aluminium profiles from reserved dies, fitted with hot-dipped galvanised tracks, hinges and fittings, powder-coated to match on request.
Single-panel doors hung on a strong hinge system on the jambs rather than on overhead tracks, using a similar footprint to a sectional door.
Top and bottom brackets, flag brackets, end bearings, tip-up door brackets and the rest of what a door needs over its life.

Each door is custom-designed and custom-built, ensuring the perfect fit and lasting quality. We service the entire Eastern Cape.
The same products solve very different problems depending on the building.
Integrated security for retail facilities such as shopping centres. The solution should not distract from the shopping experience, it should allow safe evacuation, and it has to give the right level of security to each area of the building.
Doors sized and specified for daily heavy use, where the shutter is the working entrance rather than a shop window, and downtime costs the client money.
Garage doors in timber, steel and aluminium, plus single-panel doors, roll-up doors and Coroview, matched to the house and to how the garage is actually used.
Servicing of doors and retention springs, and replacement of the metal working parts after roughly three to five years of use.
The questions we answer most often on the phone, written down so you do not have to ask twice.
Wood doors offer the most personalised and decorative options. They provide security and insulation but tend to be higher priced, because each one is customised in manufacturing. Wood can be painted or stained to match the exact look of your home, and it is an excellent choice when you want the warmth of wood to match your entry door. Treating the door annually with a timber oil will prolong its lifespan.
Yes. Roll To Secure offers residential garage doors in widths between 1,2 m and 5,5 m, and in heights up to 3 m. Designs might differ from the standard styles because of the custom size.
A one-year guarantee from the date of installation on workmanship for all timber products, and a one-year guarantee on automation systems. The guarantees exclude water damage on any product, remote batteries, battery back-up packs, the motor manual release mechanism, and damage caused by negligence. The guarantee is void if the doors are painted or varnished, or if they are adjusted, repaired, serviced or tampered with by anyone other than Roll To Secure.
A standard application needs 400 to 450 mm between the bottom of the opening header and the unobstructed ceiling. Roll To Secure specialises in custom-built installations, and a variety of special track and bracket options makes it possible to fit many unusual garages. Using low-headroom brackets, a door with an opener can go into an area with as little as 250 mm of headroom.
If an electric opener is installed, a lock is not necessary: properly installed, the opener functions as the lock and an intruder cannot lift the door from outside. If you have an older opener, check whether the door can be lifted from the outside. We do not recommend fitting a lock when an opener is installed, because a child or family member will eventually lock the door and then try to open it with the motor.
All timber products must be treated with Timberlife Oil, or a good-quality timber oil, which you can buy from Roll To Secure.
Treat two weeks after installation or delivery, then every three months for the first year, and annually after that with a good-quality timber oil. Do not varnish your garage door or gates.
Look out for a door that does not operate freely or is noisy, does not sit square in the opening, or is heavy to lift by hand; a manual lock that does not work; a manual door that will not stay up; a motor that is noisy, or a motor that runs without lifting the door.
A Roll To Secure door should give many years of safe operation if it is installed, operated and maintained properly. We advise a service every 18 months, covering the doors and retention springs. A major service after roughly three to five years replaces the metal working parts: springs, cable, pulleys and the rest.
Roll To Secure recommends servicing one year after installation. A call-out fee applies, plus any parts that need replacing. Contact your nearest branch to book it.
Three branches across the Eastern Cape. For a quote, send us the opening sizes, a photo of the opening and the address, and we will come and measure.
Include the opening sizes, how the door will be used and the site address.
